Well, we all came from other places,
Different creeds and different races,
To form a become as one,
Yet look at the harm a line has done-
A simple little line, and yet
As divisive as a line can get.

President Obama has been very tight-fisted with his past, giving only shreds of partly false information in biographical books and the little his campaign releases. Records of his work at the Chicago Annenberg Challenge are very difficult to obtain, and his school transcripts have been locked away tighter than Jack Benny's money. We already know it took three years and endless mocking to get him to release a birth certificate.

Unlike the Democrats, Republicans apparently have either more morals or less skill at obtaining this information anyway, and they stay locked away like the Clintons' college information.

I think maybe I know why, or at least I have a guess. Remember that Barack Obama's college publicity profile for the Harvard Law Review said he was from Kenya? Now they tried to pass that off as a mistake or something the PR Company guessed at, which is so absurd it made even its supporters giggle, but the fact is, it was okayed by Obama himself. Several times.

People have wondered for a while how a mediocre pot smoking student in High School who got mediocre grades in Occidental College by his own admission, how that guy got into Harvard University, one of the most prestigious and difficult to enter institutions in the world. How did he get in? Well, I suspect he told a bit of a fib, following how his father got to travel the world and collect wives: being from Kenya.

I think he told Harvard that he was born in Kenya, which would have been exciting and wonderful news to Harvard University's administration because they already were trying hard to get more blacks into the school to begin with. His transcripts and college information from both Occidental and Harvard are sealed tight and hidden away. I suspect that they have this claim in them, they say he was from Kenya.

Now, I think that was a lie, its pretty clear Obama was born in Hawaii. But its just the sort of lie we've seen Democrats tend to engage in. Just ask Elizabeth "high cheekbones" Warren, the false Cherokee. It's a convenient way to get ahead and schools are more than willing to go along with it for their diversity numbers. Who cares if its true? They can use that data to brag about their inclusive campus to other schools.

And if that came out, if his transcripts really do say he was from Kenya, then the president is faced with that whole controversy again, and he's also faced with the same thing Warren is: you lied to gain benefit, you misled the college deliberately for personal gain.

I don't know if that's true or not. It could just be Obama's ego not wanting people to see the puffball classes he took or his lousy grades. It could be any number of things, but I think this is probably what the cause for this secrecy comes down to.
