Thoughts on culture and events by author and illustrator Christopher R Taylor
Nope! They went 30 years into the future, just as they went 30 years into the past. They traveled to Oct. 21, 2015. I know that off the top of my head, but Googleing it, it was an accidental hoax.I remember this happening before, a year or so ago, I think. They were trying to reference the earlier hoax with this image to promote the Back to the Future bluray box set."“We promoted the image fully confident in the knowledge that everyone was familiar with the original hoax from a couple of years ago,” Berry told Mashable. “We figured that no one would fall for the same joke twice, so the caption was deliberately replicated it word for word so people would get the reference.” "But unexpectedly people didn’t get the joke. It was reposted on several Facebook pages, including the Facebook page of craft company Colour Me Fun, which received more than 10,000 shares, nearly 1,000 Likes and 300 comments."
Yeah I saw that later, and decided to just leave it up to be a humbling experience. Oh well. I still want a hoverboard.
