You may have noticed that Word Around the Net isn't as big as it has been in the past. That's because as I work on writing novels, illustrating gaming manuals, writing for RightNetwork and the Washington Examiner, and the rest of life, I can't put as much time and effort into the blog as I used to. I hate to short change readers here, but the truth is, this doesn't pay me much and the other work does, and I have only so much time and energy in a day to devote to writing.

And since I'm writing for other sites you can read the stuff I put there, too. So WATN gets a couple posts a day and maybe a picture instead of three to four and sometimes a picture. Maybe if I had more energy I'd be able to post more, but then I doubt I'd have started writing at all; I'd probably be working 9-5 in some job.
